Following on from Monday night’s annual Met Gala, Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination opens to the public at The Met Fifth Avenue and The Met Cloisters in New York today. The largest exhibition in the museum’s history, the exhibition brings together two hundred years of costume and fashion in a monumental endeavour that spans 25 galleries and two buildings.
